Analytics Dashboard and Reports Wireframe

Explore a three-screen analytics dashboard prototype with revenue charts, product reports, pagination and team activity. Inspect its editable YAML and linked pages.

Introduction

PULSE uses an open metrics row, teal revenue bars, and a multi-color channel chart. Follow Reports for a product table and pagination, or Activity for a compact team timeline. All three screens share one page-aware YAML document.

Arrange metrics around a decision

Start by asking what the dashboard should help someone decide. PULSE separates summary metrics from channel comparison, detailed product reporting and team activity. Keep units, date ranges and labels close to their values. A chart without context can be visually tidy and still fail to answer a useful question.

Adapt this pattern for a SaaS analytics workspace, sales overview, marketing report or operational dashboard. The example uses representative values rather than a live reporting service. For record-centric workflows, compare the CRM example.

Inspect charts, reports and page links

Open the YAML to inspect element types, page IDs and links between the three screens. Review the report table and pagination as separate visual controls. Changing a displayed metric does not connect it to a data source, and a pagination control is not a server query.

Try a focused revision: change one metric label, add a reporting-period caption or adjust a frame gap. Keep existing IDs and validate the document before applying. See data elements for supported properties.

Review missing data and reporting errors

Add empty reporting periods, loading, partial data, unavailable charts and insufficient-permission states. Distinguish zero activity from an unknown value. For the production application, specify filtering, sorting, time zones, accessible chart alternatives and permission rules.

Export .rvv to keep editing or PNG/SVG for a reporting-layout discussion. Use the wireframe review checklist before treating the dashboard as an implementation brief.
