Kanban Project Board and Task Detail Wireframe
A two-page product-team board with color-coded task columns and a linked task-detail screen.
Introduction
FORMA separates planned, active, and completed work with blue, amber, and green columns. Task cards lead to a detail page with description, checklist, assignee, and status controls. Save changes returns to the board. The preview demonstrates navigation and layout, not a persistent task-management backend.
A row of columns, a column of tasks
The board uses a horizontal frame containing three vertical column frames. Tasks are nested frames with a tag, title and owner. Inspect board-layout, todo-column and task-one to see the hierarchy. The linked task page adds description, checklist and assignment controls.
This structure suits a product sprint, editorial workflow or lightweight operations board. Colors support the stage labels rather than replacing them. For a record queue, compare the support dashboard.
Change the workflow without replacing the board
Try adding a Blocked column or a priority badge to one task. Preserve existing IDs and verify the row still fits its page. If a column needs to grow, review both the frame dimensions and the page bounds.
The mockup does not implement persistent drag-and-drop task moves, assignments or live team updates. The detail screen and Save action illustrate a journey, not a task-management service.
Review empty, blocked and restricted work
Add an empty sprint, a blocked task, an unassigned task and a read-only board. Define which actions are available in each state and what confirmation follows a change. Implement synchronization, permission checks, notifications and audit history separately.
Use the wireframe review checklist and share the editable project alongside any visual export.
